Canon 7D Mark II Rumors

The latest rumors for the Canon 7D Mark II point to a February 2013 announcement and April 2013 ship date. Given the age of the original Canon 7D (it was announced in Sept. 2009), these dates sure seem reasonable.

Rumored specs for the 7D Mark II include the following:

  • 21MP APS-C sensor
  • 10fps frame rate
  • DIGIC 6 processor
  • ISO 100-25,600

USB 3.0 output would be nice, for tethering. It would still be backward compatible with USB 2.0, making it a reasonable option.

Would they make it as noisy as 7D was, just in case someone who consider purchasing 7D Mk II decide to go for 5D Mk III instead?
