  • ISO 100-6400 (expandable to ISO 25,600)
  • 2,016 RGB metering sensor
  • 5 fps continuous shooting speed
  • 3-inch vari-angle LCD at 921k-dot resolution

According to the rumors, the Nikon D5200 should hit within the next month or so.  Stay tuned for the latest.

I would like to update my Nikon D80 to a newer affordable version of Nikon. Would you recommend the purchase of a Nikon D5200, Nikon 7000 or other model? I am seeking the best trade in value and would not like to spend more than $1200.

I’d go with the Nikon D7000 as an upgrade to the D80. Here’s my review of it: http://www.photographybay.com/2011/03/09/nikon-d7000-review/
