Fuji Instax Mini 50S

With the continual decline of film’s popularity, it’s great to see Fuji keeping the instant film train rolling.  The Fuji Instax cameras certainly have their niche (they’re one of the most searched for products on Photography Bay), and the new Instax Mini 50S should be a hot item this holiday shopping season.

The Instax Mini 50S makes the mini, credit card size photos like the Mini 7s and Mini 25.  Additionally, the Mini 50S offers dual shutter releases for portrait and landscape orientation.  It also features a macro lens for close focus at 30cm, a tripod mount and an intelligent flash for brighter backgrounds.

The Fuji Instax Mini 50S retails for $129.99, although it’s going for around $100 street right now.  You can get a closer look at B&H Photo and Amazon.

Why does this seem like the camera Darth Vader would use to document his activities?

I’m pretty sure it made a cameo in Empire…
