If you’re still only sporting USB 2.0, you’ll be OK since USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with it too.

Wouldnt recommend this drive, ive had 2 of the 1.5 TB size external HD wich both has chrashed. my second one chrashed just last week.

But maybe i just had bad luck.
