Canon 5D Mark II Pre-Order and Shipping Status

in Canon

It seems that the Canon 5D Mark II has enjoyed an overwhelming pre-order response.  Some stores, including big, online stores, have stopped taking pre-orders for the 5D Mark II.

One of the places still taking pre-orders is Ritz (here’s the link).  They’re still accepting pre-orders for the 5D Mark II (body only) and kit with the 24-105mm L lens.  If you’re wanting one for Christmas, it might be a good idea to go ahead and get in line.  Both Amazon and Adorama have pulled their pre-order capabilities for now.

Finally, word is building toward shipping dates in the US around November 20-22.  That means some of you lucky folks will be shooting your turkey dinner with 21.1 megapixels.

@wlsn – Busted! I’ve revised it. Thanks for the catch.

I received call yesterday that my 5d Mark II should be shipped sometime next week.
So it looks as if the 20th for shipping rumor is correct. :)

Houston, where did you pre-order from?

They are in upstate NY. Very nice people to deal with.
