Canon 5D Mark II Test Cameras Out to the Press

This is the lastest in the long line of Canon 5D Mark II rumors, which are building up to the epic proportions of Nikon D3 lore.  A forum poster, who claims to be a member of the press, says that he has solid second-hand info on the Canon 5D replacement.

Fuji FinePix S1000fd Review at Steve’s Digicams

Steve’s Digicams has posted a review of the Fuji FinePix S1000fd.
While the feature list makes this seem like a very appealing model, the below average shooting performance, horrible High ISO image noise, and just “average” 10-megapixel image quality results lower its appeal.

It is a well designed and solidly made camera which is tough enough to survive quite a bit of rough treatment. It handles superbly, performs exceptionally well and is a genuine pleasure to use.

Billboard Company Cancels Photographer’s Contract

On the eve of the Republican National Convention, CBS Outdoor — a St. Paul, Minn. billboard company — canceled a contract with Suzanne Opton.
