It looks like Sigma has a shiny new wide-angle Art series lens about to launch as a photo of the Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens has leaked out online.
The 20mm f/1.4 configuration looks like another solid option from Sigma, whose Art lenses have been firing on all cylinders. It’s the first full frame 20mm lens we’ve seen with a max f/1.4 aperture for SLRs as Sigma continues to trail-blaze new optical options.
The accompanying leaked speaks indicate it will be constructed of 15 elements in 11 groups with two FLD elements, five SLE elements and is designed to minimize coma aberrations, which could make this a must-have lens for astrophotography.
The 20mm lens will join a growing collection of Sigma Art series full frame, prime lenses that includes 24mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4 and 50mm f/1.4 options.
The Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art should be available in Canon, Nikon and Sigma mounts.

When, if ever, will these lenses be available for Sony Alpha mount?
Thanks,

It’s not been looking good for the Sony A-mount lately. I wouldn’t hold my breath on “ever” for the Sigma Art line on Sony A-mount.
