A new Canon EOS M camera is expected to be unveiled this summer, along with new lenses. The new lenses are rumored to include an 18-135mm compact zoom and a telephoto zoom (a 55-300mm zoom had been rumored in the past).
Previously rumored specs include the following:
- 24mp APS-C Sensor
- New generation AF system
- DIGIC V
- Removable Electronic Viewfinder (Very high resolution)
- Optional grip attachment
- 5fps
- Slightly larger than the current EOS M
- Introduced with 3 more lenses
- $999 USD
Previous rumors also suggested that the next EOS M model would have a class-leading AF system, which seems quite the bold claim based on just how slow that the AF system in the current EOS M is.
