Fujinon has introduced a new PL-mount zoom lens for Super35 cameras that features a handgrip with power zoom rocker, as well as servos for iris and focus adjustments.
The lens will cover the frame for Super35 cameras like the Sony F3, Canon C300 PL, Red EPIC and ARRI Alexa. It’s rumored to cost around $38k.
The new ENG-style lens will be on display at Abel Cine next week at NAB 2012.

It is about time! No servo zoom lens on the market is what, as a doc shooter, kept me from buying a new super 35 camera.
I which it would be more affordable!
20 years ago video lenses cost about a 1/3 of a broadcast camera and now they cost more than 3 time the cost of a decent camera!!
