Canon PowerShot S200

A pair of new Canon cameras surfaced in some Taiwan government filings, complete with photos of the new models.

The Canon PowerShot S200 showed is expected to replace the PowerShot S110. As can be seen in the image of the S200, it will feature 5x optical zoom lens (24-120mm equivalent), which is the same lens found in the current S110. [click to continue…]

New leaks point to a new Olympus XZ-10 compact camera and 75-300mm Micro Four Thirds lens coming next week during the CP+ show in Japan.

The XZ-10 is rumored to be a high-end compact camera that will likely serve as a replacement or companion model to the Olympus XZ-2.

The new lens will be the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75-300mm f/4.8-6.7 II Micro Four Thirds lens that will be a 150-600mm equivalent zoom lens. The first version of this lens is already listed as discontinued.

Nikon D600 Rumors

All the recent leaks and rumores for the Nikon D600 are pointing to an almost certain release of the full frame DSLR prior to Photokina 2012.  That is, expect it sometime in the next couple of weeks.
