Fuji X100T Officially Unveiled

Fuji has finally announced the oft-rumored X100T fixed lens camera, which serves as an upgrade to the X100S.

The X100T features a number of improvements in the user experience department while relying on the core of established features that made the X100 and X100S such solid cameras. As such, it is no surprise that the X100T sports a familiar 16.3MP X-Trans CMOS II sensor and 23mm f/2 lens. [Read more...]

Leica M ‘Edition 60′ Rumored to Have No LCD

Rumors of an upcoming Leica M model have been circulating for awhile now. The most intriguing aspect of the rumors have been that the camera would not have an LCD rear panel for reviewing images and making adjustments in the camera’s menu system.

The Leica M Edition 60 supposedly appeared on Leica’s website for a short time, from which Leica Rumors captured the above screenshot.

Expect to see more on the Leica M Edition 60 in the coming days as we close in on Photokina 2014.

Hasselblad H5X Medium Format Camera Body Announced

Hasselblad has announced its new H5X camera body, which is compatible with Hasselblad H System lenses and backs, as well as film backs and most third-party digital backs.

The H5X is largely intended to serve as a backup body for H5D users. It retails for €4,595 without viewfinder and €5,795 with viewfinder.

Samsung NX1 Flagship Camera Coming Soon

Samsung appears set to unveil its flagship NX1 model prior to Photokina this month. The Samsung NX1 will sit atop the NX line of APS-C mirrorless cameras ahead of the NX3000, NX300 and NX30 models. If rumors hold true, it will feature a higher resolution 28MP sensor, as opposed to the 20.3MP sensor found in the aforementioned models. [Read more...]
