Panasonic 4K Lumix Camera

The more and more I see on the new Panasonic 4K Lumix camera, the more I am impressed. It is shaping up to be a groundbreaking 4K camera. The “game changer” moniker is really gone at this point for resolution and frame rate bumps; however, the G4K may be the most impressive launch we’ve seen in a prosumer camera in the past few years – especially if it comes in at the quoted “under $2000″ price point.

Numerous rumors and leaks point to a Friday launch for the Panasonic 4K concept we saw at CES 2014. Panasonic GH3 Rumors

The new Panasonic Lumix G6 and LF1 cameras are expected to be announced next week. The Micro Four Thirds Lumix G6 would replace the Lumix G5, which features a 16.05MP sensor, 3″ touchscreen LCD and 1080p video capture at 60fps. I would expect a rather incremental upgrade for the G6 since the flagship Panasonic Lumix GH3 also sports a 16.05MP sensor and 1080/60p video. [click to continue…]

Panasonic GH3 Rumors

The Panasonic GH3 is expected to arrive prior to Photokina 2012 as an update to the Panasonic GH2, one of the most popular mirrorless cameras to date.
