Nikon has issued a firmware update for the Nikon 1 V1. A and B firmware version 1.21 for the V1 adresses the following issue:
Immediately after the camera was turned on after attaching a lens, shooting display in the camera monitor or electronic viewfinder (view through the lens) sometimes appeared to move. This issue has been resolved.

Amazon has the Nikon 1 V1 with the 10-30mm lens (27-84mm equivalent) for only $369 right now. The V1 was recently replaced by the Nikon 1 V2, which retails for $800 and should be available next week. Check out the deal on the V1 here on Amazon.com.
Nikon is recalling some EN-EL15 batteries (with specific serial numbers noted below). The Nikon EN-EL15 battery is used in the Nikon D7000, D800, D800E and Nikon 1 V1 cameras.
