Photoshop Photography Program

Adobe has opened up its Photoshop Photography Program to everyone for a limited time through December 2, 2013. The Photoshop Photography Program offers access to Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 (plus respective feature updates and upgrades as they are available), 20GB of cloud storage and Behance ProSite, via Adobe Creative Cloud for $9.99/month as an annual subscription.

Previously, this program was only available to those who own a previous version of Photoshop Photoshop Extended, or Creative Suite, version CS3 or later. After Dec. 2, however, the deal will no longer be available to those who don’t own one of these prior CS3 or higher versions – and that deal will also expire Dec. 31, 2013.

You can find more details here on Adobe’s website.

Lightroom 4 Main Interface

Adobe should be releasing Lightroom 5 as a free beta any day now based on the early release of an article on TechCrunch (which was quickly taken down).

I expect to see the announcement later this week at the Photoshop World opening keynote, which takes place on Wednesday, April 17, at 9AM ET. Adobe is well-known for dropping big news at Photoshop World openers, and it looks like this one got a bit ahead of them. [click to continue…]
