Last week, I passed along a reader’s tip that a limited number of Canon 8-15mm f/4L lenses would be making their way into the US this week. It looks like that is now coming to pass since B&H is taking pre-orders for the 8-15mm Fisheye lens.
As you may be aware, when B&H opens items up for pre-order, it generally means that they will be shipping within a few days. Based on the numbers I was given by the tipster, I wouldn’t expect these to last long.
The Lensbaby Scout is a new manual focus lens that doesn’t bend like other Lensbaby lenses. The new Scout, however, will accept all of Lensbaby’s optic swap modules, and comes with the fisheye module. The Lensbaby Scout with Fisheye provides unique optical lens flare possibilities, along with extreme close focusing.
The Lensbaby Scout with Fisheye carries an initial retail price of $249.95 and is available in Canon, Nikon, Olympus 4/3, Pentax and Sony mounting options. You can find the Lensbaby Scout at B&H Photo, Amazon and Adorama.
