Canon 6D

Canon has released firmware version 1.1.3 for the Canon EOS 6D. The firmware update provides a relatively minor fix that “corrects the phenomenon where date/time settings reset.”

Canon 70D Rumors

The latest rumors suggest that Canon has a new camera announcement coming on April 23, 2013. While no specific details have leaked out at this point, the Canon 70D seems to be a very likely candidate.

Canon CN-E 35mm Cinema Prime Lens

Pentax Speedlight at CES 2013

Even though we are now in April, I am still digging through things I saw while at CES 2013 back in January. One of the interesting things for Pentax shooters was a new speedlight mockup on display in the Pentax booth.

The only official thing I can reveal about it is that Pentax was “showing a reference model of new flashes.” Boring, eh?
