Sony has a new line-up of HD Handycam Camcorders at CES 2013 ranging from the flagship, $1,599 HDR-PJ790V to the $249 HDR-CX220. All the Handycam line now offers the ability to switch between AVCHD or web-friendly MP4 formats.

The Canon PowerShot N is definitely one of the most unique cameras released this year at CES 2013. While it offers common features found in modern point and shoot cameras (like a 12.MP sensor and an 8x optical zoom lens with image stabilization), the form-factor and control scheme of the PowerShot N puts it on an entirely different playing field than your typical pocket camera.

Canon has introduced a pair of new EF-mount cinema prime lenses, the CN-E14mm T3.1 L F and CN-E135mm T2.2 L F. These new lenses join Canon’s CN-E24mm T1.5 L F, CN-E50mm T1.3 L F, and CN-E85mm T1.3 L F primes for a total of five Canon EF-mount cinema prime lenses.
