canon powershot g10

Engadget has posted a review of the Canon Powershot D10, along with some sample images and underwater video.

All told, Canon’s PowerShot D10 is a stellar adventure camera. It’s more than just a waterproof camera that’s only marginally larger than a standard P&S, it’s a rugged, lightweight shooter that should suit most everyone but the professionals in attendance.

Canon Professional Network has published a Technical Article for the Canon PowerShot G10.  My favorite (with a wink and a nudge) comment from the article follows:

First off, sensor resolution has been increased from 12.1 to 14.7 megapixels. Before anyone groans, the addition of the latest DIGIC 4 processor has made those pixels genuinely useful and image quality has been upped, even at higher ISO settings.

. . . . if the ultimate in image quality and image control is what rings your chimes, the G10 takes top honors—it’s simply the best in its class.
