Lightroom 4 Update Coming This Week w/ 5D Mark III Support & Bug Fixes

Lightroom 4

[UPDATE: It’s live now. Details here.]

I can’t count the number of recent blog posts, reviews and tweets that I’ve seen lamenting over the lack of support for the Canon 5D Mark III in Lightroom 4.  All should be well later this week with Adobe’s effort to release a Lightroom 4 update that includes several key bug fixes and adds support for the 5D Mark III.

Chances are that this will be a Release Candidate out of the gate at Adobe Labs with a final update due in a few weeks.  I’ll post as soon as I hear more.

Photoshop Lightroom: From Snapshots to Great Shots – New Book

Lightroom Book

Photoshop Lightroom: From Snapshots to Great Shots is a new book from Jeff Revell.  The book covers Lightroom 4 editing; however, Jeff says he wrote the book with the notion in mind that Lightroom version 2 and 3 users would still be able to take advantage of the information.

Photoshop Lightroom: From Snapshots to Great Shots retails for $24.99; however, it is currently available for $13.63 on Amazon.com.
