Does anyone know of anyone who does inexpensive data retrieval. We did Scanrite twice and it pulled up nothing. It ran the software for a whole month, read data, then when we went to view the data it was reading, there were no images to speak of.

Western Dig. will send it out to forensic retreival for 2K. Everyone else is around 500 - 4K! I don't have ANY of that kind of money. My husb. and 1, between us both have 1 job.

    Can anyone help?

The CF cards have been formated and reformatted and used and used and I tried using Scan Disk retrieval software and pulled off 3 images, the rest were damaged or simply not there.

    Thanks guys.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I have 500 GB of images which I was backing up, and it dropped on the floor and damaged the hard drive.

    Anyone, please help??

Gosh Kim. That sounds like a tough one. I've never heard the words forensic retrieval and inexpensive sit well with each other.

My best guess would have been with Western Digital. I hope you find the help you are looking for.
