What kind of hot shoe adapter would recommend for a Canon Rebel T1i?

    I need a hot shoe adapter for my T1i and I'm afraid to burn my camera if I get a wrong one. I can't find the how much is the voltage for the hot shoe on that camera. Thanks for any help.
