Hopefully the D-810 will also have an improved non-overoiled mirror mechanism. The D-800, D-800E have oil spots on the sensor much like the Nikon D-600. Nikon came out with a D-610 and supposed improved mirror mechanism that doesn't splatter oil on the cameras sensor. This remains to be seen as will the new D-810.
Not buying it. Given Nikon's track record with other cameras, D600/D610, it's been a joke.. I'm sure the D810 will have more problems than the D800/800E when they came out. When the hell they going to fix the LCD to be like Canon's?
If I were to sell my D800 it wouldn't be for the 810. I'd rather get a Canon 5D.
