Eric, do you happen to know if it takes advantage of the Mac Pro GPU setup as does FCP X?

Alex, Resolve 10 takes full advantage of GPU setups.

Just on a 2011 iMac with 16gb ram and a 512mb nvidia i can render out prores at real time with light grades.

I use resolve for transcoding just as often for coloring, and it is a very powerful and fast tool compared to other apps that I've used. Even raw files will transcode to 4444 at about 10 fps, on my less than pro level mac. I've used it on some powerful workstations as well and I never dropped below realtime on full HD raw files, with a handful of active nodes.

I personally am also really excited for 11. I've used the NLE in 10, so these features will be very welcome.

Thanks for chiming in Stephen. And for further clarification, it will take advantage of multi-GPU setups like what's available in the new Mac Pro.

I like the idea of a dongle. Old fashion… but you can always get to your software with it…
