I don't know enough about the tech to understand why the 65 inch 4K Sony I was looking at the other week at the local electronics store (which looked stunning, even on a satellite feed that was being upscaled) and was priced @ $6000. Why in the world would this be priced so insane? It may 'theoretically' have a higher colour gamut, but give me a break. That price for a 30 inch model? Even if it is positioned at the professional movie industry … seems silly from little exposure I've had to the tech.
