I put off buying....i.e. ordering the competitions new resolution leader for months and again if this rumor is true..Im going to be very glad I waited.

Certainly a body that I would consider, but .... without the video possibilities, stills only. When shooting a film I use a camcorder from Canon, when using a photo I use a photocamera. I never use a combi hw solution, that's something for novice amateurs who do not know what they want.

Rumors of a high megapixel DSLR from Canon have really been heating up since the 1D X launched with "only" 18.1MP. The rumors persisted after the 5D Mark III rolled in at roughly the same resolution as its predecessor.
