I hadn't heard that about the FS100 only recommended for SanDisk and Lexar cards. I use a FS100 regularly; however, I always use SanDisk Extreme cards with it.

I bought one of these HP cards to go in a NEX-C3. I've used PNY cards before and never had a problem though. I'll keep an eye on it now that you mention this.

Allow me to explain a situation. I use the Sony FS100 cine camera - incredible unit. Sony recommends the Sandisk or the Lexar's only. I used these very same PNY cards for a shoot recently. After the shooting, there was only a few minutes left on it. When it came to transferring it and seeing the footage, the cramped footage apparently ruined the footage for the majority of what was on the clip. Lost the shoot as well.

Called Sony. They asked if I had formatted it before I shot - no (there was stuff on the card). They said unless it is a Sandisk or Lexar, you won't get a guaranteed recording. PNY not recommended. It does not pay to go cheap. We lost an entire evenings shoot and had to redo it a week later. Costly mistake.

For what it is worth.

Amazon has a solid deal on an HP 32GB SDHC card for only $20.99. The deal is valid through June 30 or until they run out. This card appears to be manufactured by PNY and has received solid ratings from customers at Amazon. I just ordered one for myself as well. Details here at Amazon.
