Adobe has added a couple of powerful new updates in the latest version of Photoshop CC.
3D printing has been growing like crazy over the past couple years. It has a large following for both professional and hobbyist applications. Nearly every 3D printing vendor booth at CES 2014 was packed every time I walked by.[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0W3MkqidSAo&w=640&h=360]
It really shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Adobe has added 3D printing capabilities to Photoshop CC. Using Photoshop, you can now create, refine, preview, and print your 3D designs directly to a locally connected 3D printer or through Shapeways.com 3D printing service.
Additionally, the new perspective warp allows you correct or completely alter the perspective of a photo. Check out a demo video below.[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=UvGWuppY4XE&w=640&h=360]
You can find the complete rundown on all of the changes for the Photoshop January 2014 update here on Adobe’s website. If you’re still interested in picking up Photoshop CC, you can get it bundled with Lightroom for $9.99/mo through Feb. 28.
