Cinevate is launching a Kickstarter campaign to bring its new Morpheus stabilizer to life. The Cinevate Morpheus is a all-in-one stabilizer solution for Steadicam-like handheld operation of GoPro, iPhone and pocket cameras while recording video. It serves as multipurpose device for static shooting, as well as an auto-leveling jib head and a slider or dolly.

Cinevate is seeking $25,000 CAD to fund this project and it is already well on its way to fulfillment with over $8800 pledged with 27 days to go.

The following video was captured entirely using the Cinevate Morpheus in a variety of configurations.

The Cinevate Morpheus is available through the Kickstarter campaign with a pledge of $125. Additional pledge levels offer additional accessories like dolly wheels and slider rails. You can check out the Cinevate Morpheus in more detail here on Kickstarter.

Thanks for sharing, Eric. We’re all about the DIY GoPro stuff, but man, this thing makes me want to whip out my wallet a buy every attachment these guys make. Looks nicely portable too. Again, nice find.
