Photoshop 3.0 vs. Photoshop CC on Floppy Discs

Here’s a fun little nugget for those of you who recall the old 3.5-inch floppy discs.¬†Photoshop 3.0, which launched in September 1994 and became the first version to feature “Layers”, was the last version of Photoshop to be sold on the floppy disc.

If Photoshop CC were sold on floppy discs today, it would need to be installed with 733 discs!

I have used Photoshop 4.5 for Mac on floppy’ s…… The Mac I was using then didn’ t have a CD drive (I’ m not sure but a VX II as I recall)

I used Adobe PS 3.0 with Windows 95.
I still have it on my backup CDs.
I wonder if it works on the current systems !

That’s cool. Almost 20 years later and it’s 10x the file size.
