These remotes serve as interval timers and remote shutter releases, which are essential for timelapse recording on Canon DSLRs. As a result, these are a cheaper alternative to Canon’s own $130 TC-80N3 remote.

if you don’t mind waiting for it to arrive, the foreign imports you can find on eBay are usually $10-15 (with shipping) and work exactly the same…
