It seems everyone is jumping in the action cam market with GoPro – and Polaroid is no different. Polaroid unveiled 3 new action cam models at Photokina 2012 – the Polaroid XS7, XS20 and XS100.
The Polaroid XS7 captures 720p HD video and 5MP still images. It features 2-inch touchscreen display and a waterproof case that’s good down to 10 meters.
The Polaroid XS20 also captures 720p HD video and 5MP still images; however, it is waterproof down to 20 meters and has a high capacity battery for up to 3 hours of shooting. The XS20 also features 8 built-in LED lights and motion detection sensors to start recording.
Finally, the Polaroid XS100 captures 1080p video and 16MP still images. It offers a 170-degree lens for wide angle capture. The XS100 also features adjustable frame rates for timelapse, an auto rotating sensor so the camera alway captures a level image and is waterproof down to 10 meters.
The Polaroid XS7, XS20 and XS100 should be available in October for $69.99, $99.99 and $199.99, respectively. Check availability at B&H Photo.
