The Canon 1D X is in stock at Amazon.com. There are only 8 left in stock at the time of this post, so don’t expect this to last long. You can find it here on Amazon.com.
I’m not trying to make anyone buy anything Dave. The 1D X has had a very limited availability to date. This is simply an alert to let those who want the camera know that it’s in stock. It’s no secret that Photography Bay is supported by affiliate retailers that I trust – Amazon, B&H Photo and Adorama being a few of them.
If all you got out of the 1100+ word article that you referenced was that I think the 1D X is a bad camera, then you clearly missed the point. I would encourage you to go back and re-read the preceding paragraph to the quote you referenced.
You will find that I do not have the opinion that the Canon 1D X “sucks” as you put it. Or, if you are not interested in the 1D X, Nikon D800, Nikon D4 or any other limited-availability cameras, you can simply ignore the “in stock alerts” that I post for such cameras.

Why you try to get us to buy one of these when as you say: “the Nikon D4 makes Canon look like a bit of a chump.” http://www.photographybay.com/2012/01/21/the-5d-mark-iii-and-canons-response-to-the-nikon-d4/
Is it because you just want us to use your link so you get paid?
I think I’ll support a site that sticks by it’s opinions. If it sucks don’t try to get us to buy it.

Then, go read my initial hands-on with the 1D X here: http://www.photographybay.com/2011/10/27/canon-1d-x-hands-on/
