What appears to be the Canon EOS M mirrorless camera has leaked onto the web. The oft-rumored Canon mirrorless camera sports and EOS badge and a new EF-M lens mount as seen with the 22mm f/2 lens with the STM-drive motor above.

I wonder if the “EOS” on the body means it’s compatible with existing EOS lenses… I love the looks of the little guy and I love it that they went with a 22mm f/2 lens, suggesting an APS-C sensor (35 f/2).
Can’t wait to see the official release!

Although, it could also be a 1.8x sensor from the G1x resulting in what is roughly a 40mm f/2 lens which is a common pancake focal length as well as being directly competitive with the Panny 20/1.7.

I think you may be right with the 1.8x, notice its not an ef-s lens mount, but a new ef-m mount lens.
