Adobe Lightroom 3.6

Adobe has made release candidates of Lightroom 3.6 and Camera Raw 6.6 available for download in Adobe Labs.  These versions add RAW file support for the following cameras:

5D Mark II on Amazon

I wouldn’t expect his deal to last too long, but Amazon has the 5D Mark II with a 24-105mm f/4L lens for $2749.

This is substantially lower that this kit normally runs (usually in the $3200 or higher range).  The lens alone goes for over $1000, which would put the value of the 5D Mark II body in the $1700 range.  Again, I don’t expect this to last long.

WD Gear

I caught up with Matt Bennion at PhotoPlus 2011 and talked to him about some of the recent products from Western Digital.

I’m very excited about the My Book Live, which I talked about when the WD 2go App was announced a couple months ago.  The update through the WD 2go App for the MyBook Live drives gives us so much power to freely share large files without the need of some middleman charging us for another storage or transfer service.
