Nikon has released a free iOS app that lets you stream content from your iOS device to the built-in projector of the Nikon Coolpix S1200pj.

There are 65 million NIKKOR lenses in the world. Nikon announced that it reached the 65 million mark at the beginning of October 2011. It hit the 60 million mark in March of this year, just a couple of months after Canon did the same. It’s pretty amazing that the two companies are so close in total lens production given the amount of time they’ve been at it.

Amazon has a Seagate 2TB USB 3.0 external HD for $80 right now. The last time this deal was up, it only lasted for a day.
If you’re still only sporting USB 2.0, you’ll be OK since USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with it too.

Canon applied for a patent on a 70-300mm f/4-5.6 lens in March 2011. Presumably, this is an update to the consumer grade line of 75-300mm non-stabilized lenses. [click to continue…]
