P+S TECHNIK’s new PS-Cam X35 is out. It’s a serious piece of cinema gear from Germany that shoots 1080p video at up to 450fps.

It’s cheaper than a Red, and does the same things. A redone package, which doesn’t include everything is $56K, while Epic is $73 or something like that.

..since for “just” $65,000 you have the new F65 …I think that this german camera is a bit outdated ..but from the start..it’s maybe a camera of 3 years ago, at this price..

This camera does 1-450 fps without cropping the sensor, meaning you can actually get wide angle shots at high frame rates without restoring to a fisheye. There is no comparison to the RED or the Alexa or any other camera in my opinion. Check out some real world experiences here:
