Sony A77 Good Design Award

The Sony A77 was briefly featured on a nomination page for the Good Design Expo starting later this month in Tokyo.  The listing confirmed several key features for the new A77, including a 24MP Exmor CMOS image sensor powered by a new BIONZ processor that will help the A77 deliver a whopping 12fps in full resolution stills.

Additionally, the listing confirms 60p and 24p video at full 1920 x 1080 resolution, as well as an XGA OLED viewfinder.

Look for the Sony A77 to be officially unveiled on August 24, 2011.  Subscribe to Photography Bay’s RSS feed or other subscription options so you don’t miss a beat.
