Last week, I passed along a reader’s tip that a limited number of Canon 8-15mm f/4L lenses would be making their way into the US this week. It looks like that is now coming to pass since B&H is taking pre-orders for the 8-15mm Fisheye lens.
As you may be aware, when B&H opens items up for pre-order, it generally means that they will be shipping within a few days. Based on the numbers I was given by the tipster, I wouldn’t expect these to last long.

In the latest round of Canon DSLR and Printer rebates, it looks like Canon has sweetened the deal with instant cash back on PIXMA Pro 9000 and Pro 9500 printers. The end result after mail-in rebates is a total rebate of $500 on a $450 printer (the PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II) or a $600 rebate on a $720 printer (the PIXMA Pro9500 Mark II).
Essentially, a PIXMA Pro9000 costs negative-$50 and Pro9500 costs $120 when purchased with a qualifying Canon DSLR.
