Artensoft has introduced its Photo Collage Maker 1.0 software that can automatically generate photo collages to create a mosaic photograph. In essence, you start with your own photo and then designate the types and number of tiles, along with other options.  Photo Collage Maker 1.0 then assembles your collage based on this info.

The software is Windows only, and comes pre-packaged with source image sets for designing your photo collage.  Photo Collage Maker 1.0 currently sales for $27.99.  A trial version is available for download.

You can read more about Photo Collage Maker 1.0 on Artensoft’s website.

America in Color 1939-1943

The Denver Post has a fantastic collection of images captured in color between 1939 and 1943.  There are some very moving images in it, which were captured by Farm Security Administration/Office of War Information photographers.

Somehow, looking at these images in color makes it seem not that long ago.

This video just about takes the cake for me. Kudos to the photographer for keeping cool during the “attack.”

Do you have a wildlife photography encounter to rival this one?
