A couple of big deals on the Nikon D3100 and Nikon Coolpix S1000pj.  Amazon has the Nikon D3100 for $639 $599, which is just about as low as I’ve seen the price so far.  Additionally, the S1000pj is last year’s model of Nikon’s point and shoot with a built-in projector.  The S1100pj that replaced it currently costs twice as much.
