Nikon 24-70mm Coffee Cup with Zooming Lens Barrel

There’s a new version of the Nikon 24-70mm coffee cup that actually has a zooming lens barrel.  I thought the others with the selectable AF/MF and image stabilization switches were pretty slick, but this is something else.

These run $27.50 at 100milligrams.com.

They’ve also got a standard version and a couple of Canon lens mugs.

The designers still have not gotten it right. The biggest flaw is that you have to remove the lid to drink from it. Not exactly car friendly. They concentrated on fluff instead of usability. There is a Canon mug that is usable with the lid on. What were these designers thinking, certainly not about ergonomics.
