Photography Bay reader and Flickr user, Mister Le, passed along these sample images earlier this week. The were captured using a Nikon D300s and the new 85mm f/1.4G AF-S lens.

This is a fantastic lens. I got mine last week and I use it for shooting promotional pens and the sharpness is outstanding. I use it with strobes wide open at f1.4 and it is as good as f4 on my old 85/1.4. Well done Nikon. Just need to upgrade to a d3x now to exploit its full potential. Thanks for the great sample images here. I will try and get creative with it now having seen the bokeh
