So I missed our regular schedule for Firmware Friday this week.  All the better though, since a couple of new firmwares dropped on Friday.

Leica M9 firmware version 1.138 – “Improved compatibility of SDHC cards. Nevertheless, we recommend our customers the “Extreme III” cards from the leading brand “SanDisk”. Improved Auto White Balance in conditions with power saving lamps and tungsten light. (And other bug fixes)” [Leica website]

PocketWizard FlexTT5 & MiniTT1 firmware version 5.1 - “ControlTL Firmware Version 5.1 is a firmware upgrade which allows compatibility with the AC3 ZoneController for Canon. The AC3 ZoneController gives the photographer control over three independent zones of light, whether working in E-TTL or Manual mode, directly from the camera’s position.” [PocketWizard website]

Ricoh CX1 firmware version 1.25 – “Modified the following phenomena. 1 Printing images with some PictBridge printer may fail on the PictBridge connection. 2 The camera may not correct distortion properly in certain scenes.” [Ricoh website]
