Olympus has made available firmware updates for the E-P1, E-P2 and E-PL1 PEN Series cameras. The new firmware updates are designed to improve the auto focus performance for still and video capture in the PEN cameras.
Olympus claims that AF lock time is improved by 15% when shooting still images and that AF tracking accuracy is improved for video capture.
You can learn more about the update on Olympus’ firmware update web page. The firmware is available through the Olympus Digital Camera Updater application, which is available for free download here.
