Panasonic GF1 Firmware Update Version 1.1

Panasonic has released a firmware update, version 1.1, for the GF1 Micro Four Thirds camera, along with 5 Panasonic lenses.  The firmware provides the GF1 with improved auto focus, auto white balance, noise performance and more.  The lens firmware upgrades offer improved auto focus in video recording modes, along with other improvements.

Firmware version 1.1 for DMC-GF1

  • Improved AF (Auto Focus)performance in movie recording

  • Improved aperture control in scenery program modes

Firmware version 1.2 for Lumix G Vario 45-200mm/F4.0-5.6 (H-FS045200)

  • Availability of AF in FHD(Full HD) mode
  • Improved AF performance in movie recording

Firmware version 1.1 for Lumix G Vario 7-14mm/F4.0 (H-FS007014)

  • Availability of AF in FHD mode
  • Improved aperture control performance in movie recording
  • Improved AF performance in movie recording

Firmware version 1.2 for Lumix G Vario HD 14-140mm/F4.0-5.8 (H-VS014140)
Firmware version 1.1 for Lumix G 20mm / F1.7 (H-H020)

  • Improved AF performance in movie recording
