Sony A550

It looks like we may be getting very close to the launch of the new Sony DSLRs, as the Sony A550L Kit is back on the Sony Style USA site in a product registration drop down list.

Expect the Sony A850 and A500 too.

The Sony A550 is rumored to have a 15-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor.  The A500 gets a 12-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor and the A850 will have the same 24.6-megapixel sensor as the Sony A900.

- CMOS 14 MP
- Body same here :) http://ericreagan.smugmug.com/photos/629470783_kmJu8-O.jpg
- LCD 3 inch Xtra 921,000 px (but A500 is 230,000 px)
- S= 30-1/400s – 5 fps (but in Speed-Priority Mode has 7 fps) – A500 only 5 fps.

- Live View with AF Face Detection (8 face) & Smile Shoot (3 level)
- New User Interface (upgrade from A380)
- UI in Live View is convenient (it’s mean you can use “Fn button” & selection many specs while Live View).
- 9-point AF same A380, AF tracking :D
- Grip B50AM, FM500H Battery
