Today, Olympus has announced the E-600 DSLR, which features a 12.3-megapixel sensor. The E-600 also offers a 2.7-inch vari-angle LCD screen, Olympus’ popular Art Filters and in-body image stabilization.
The Olympus E-600 should be available November 2009 in a kit with the ED 14-42mm f3.5/5.6 Zuiko lens at an initial retail price of $599.99. Check availability on Amazon.com.

It’s pretty clear that the Canon 7D is all but official and that it is slotted between the Canon 50D and 5D Mark II.
