Canon Rebates Extended Until August 8?

Canon Spring / Summer Rebates Extended

While I have seen no official word from Canon on the matter, B&H Photo still has the rebates listed on the Canon Spring / Summer 2009 Lens Rebate offerings.  When you click on the link for rebate details, you see the above message pop up, which certainly seems to indicate that Canon has extended the rebate period until August 8, 2009.

If true, this is good news for all.  For those of you who thought they were going to miss out, you’ve got another month to hoard your pennies for a new Canon lens or flash. Here’s the full list of rebate gear from an earlier post.
