Just because it's possible doesn't make it desirable. I have one DSLR that only displays the settings on the LCD on the back of the camera; it is bulky and time consuming to take my eye away from the camera, select the setting and walk through a menu to set it.

I much prefer the camera that has a small LCD on top, and many buttons and dials to adjust the settings. It's faster, and keeps my attention on composing the photo and creating the image.

Thank you, no to touch screens.

Not only wi-fi and touchscreen, but what about an audio interface (both read out load and voice activation)? All this would make the camera more accessible.

When it comes to certain gadgets, sometimes adding a certain kind of technology takes away from the personalization of said gadget.

For example, the reason why I fell in love with dslr cameras when I was introduced to them was how personalized and how hands on it was.

I feel like adding said technology would take away from the experience. I don't need wifi to upload my photos straight to FB or nething because what if I wanted to edit them or something?

I feel like if you put a touchscreen on the camera you could essentially remove buttons and dials and I feel like it would take away from the hands on connection I have with the camera.

I like the idea, technology is a beautiful thing, but for someone like me who enjoys beings as hands on as possible with a camera its just not for me.
