Here’s a cool little stop motion video that reader David Lee sent in. I asked David to tell us a little more about the project:
The idea was to make an animation set in Asia. The “experimental” side appeared after i started piecing the images together. The Donnie Darko rabbit just fell into place during the edit, especially when i put the track in. The rabbit is a house pet in Kyoto, so it was still fitting for the “Asian” subject.
A top megazoom option, the Canon PowerShot SX1 IS offers a 20x zoom lens and HD video, which you can’t get in a similarly priced dSLR, and delivers more features and slightly better performance and photo quality than the cheaper SX10 IS.
Photography Bay reader, Rick, sent in a question that I thought I would pitch to the community here. Essentially, Rick has a couple of Canon AE-1′s that are in need of professional repair. For those of you who cut your teeth in the digital realm, the Canon AE-1 is a film-based, manual focus SLR. They are still quite widely available in decent used condition.
Does anyone have a recommendation for where he can send these camera’s for some affordable repair work at a reputable shop?

The largest issue with the Sony Cyber-shot T900 is its user interface. The T900′s interface isn’t user friendly and the separated Home and Normal menus just add to the confusion.
